Background
Gemera was the new family supercar from Koenigsegg, the car consisted of two 13 inch displays one for the driver and front passenger, and one for the rear passengers. The steering wheel also had a screen with rotation feature.
The Challenge
Develop the user interface for the overall car screens. Steering wheel screen with the features need by the driver, a 13 inch front dashboard taking in consideration the driver and passengers needs and a rear 13 inch to be used as infotainment system by the rear passengers.
The Goal
To deliver a high end user interface that followed the brand exclusivity and luxury design and style guidelines.
Front Display
13 inch Display
The company had its business requirements for the front display, it should have the car settings with easy access for the driver as well the passenger should find easily the settings for seat heat and adjustments.
Rear Display
Rear 13 inch Display
The rear seat were consider a infotainment lounge, the passengers could connect the headsets to the screens and watch movies, listen to music or do some shopping while enjoying the drive.
Steering wheel Display
Should display for the driver the most important features for easy access
Final thoughts
This project was created aiming its release on Geneva Motor Show 2020. The steps taken after this first release was to have it tested with potential users to analyze if the features presented here would make sense to the market version release
