Background
Project with the theme "Food Design" Developed to be an interaction between Brazilian and Italian food.
The Challenge
Create a product that could be used on both cultures, Brazil and Italy, and that follow the "Food Design" theme.
The Goal
Have a food truck with user experience design for the way the food would be prepare inside and with a easy way for the costumers to make an order.
User Centered Design
The whole project development was based on putting the user needs and goals in focus. This way it was possible to understand how the users interact with their cars infotainment and how were they pain points, this way it was possible to deliver a better final product.
Empathize
Market Research
A market research was conducted to understand the possible solution for a food truck was already available in the market and what could be the difference between the two countries.
Correlation Matrix
To decide which type of food truck would be the best solution for the project, a correlation matrix was created to help make a research based decision.
Field Research
To understand all stakeholders involved and users, multiple food truck were vised and observed how was usual day of work and it was possible to analyzed the possible goals and needs of those involved in a platform like this.
Ideate
User Personas
Using the observation from the field research it was possible to create the personas that would guide me throughout the project development.
User Interaction Analysis
To help on keeping users needs in mind it was created a mapping of the main tasks and the users interaction according to each. A graphic representation was helpful as a visual reminder of the project goals.
System Layout
As the projects consisted of multiple final products a system layout of the overall interaction was created to guide the projects development.
App Wireframes
The app used by the customers should present a way to work the food, and also to check the current location of the food truck.
Prototype
Low Fidelity Prototype
As a method to order food an app was proposed and its first interaction was test as a low fidelity prototype.
Food Container

Project would have an appropriate package for the proposed food and to test how it would work and if it was ergonomically correct and simple prototype was developed.
Final Design
The final result it consisted of three different products, a food truck that would prepare and sell Arancini/Coxinha, a appropriate packaging for the food and an app that allow the user to make an order and to check the food truck locations.
Food Truck
Food truck would sell a mixed of the recipes from Arancini(Italy) and Coxinha(Brazil). The truck would be equipped to the food preparation and cooking and with a selling display.
Food Packaging
The packaging provide on the food truck should allow the costumers to consume the food easily and also be keep as a souvenir.
Food Truck App
The app developed was created to provide an easy way to order food, check the menu and also the food truck locations.
